General Information
Students who participated in the FSU Next Program at Tallahassee State College (TSC) may apply via the lateral admission process during their first Spring semester at FSU. Transfer students who have completed the AA or are Upper Division students are eligible to apply for the Honors in the Major program.
To be considered for admission into the FSU University Honors Program, transfer students must have a 3.75 GPA or higher from their previous institution. All admitted transfer students will be required to complete the Honors Program 18 honors credits requirement including:
- Successful completion of the Honors Colloquium course (IDH 2920) in their first semester.
- Successful completion of one Honors Signature Course during their time in the University Honors program.
- Successful completion of one departmental Honors course during their time in the program.
- Maintaining a 3.2 or higher FSU GPA throughout the duration of their time to degree.
Required Materials for Application Submission
- Completion of the three-part University Honors Program Transfer Application which includes two essays
- FSU Admissions letter
- Unofficial transcript from current institution
- Supplemental page listing completed honors courses (optional)

- Note: If you do not use your FSU student email, your application will not be processed.
- After logging into your account, you must click the "View programs" to access the application.
- After finishing all questions, you will see a mark as complete box. Once you click that box, the submit button with appear.
- Applications are not reviewed unless they are submitted.
